Good to hear from you again, old mate.
I agreee with what you say.
These days however, I have just grown tired of us humans blaming everyone else for our problems. I have arrived at the conclusion that try as we may, we have little chance of changing people and situations so as to supply us with happiness.
The easiest path to follow is to work on our own open-mindednes and tolerance without giving up on the beliefs that govern us as individuals.
In essence I believe that is what democracy is all about.
I think we should give thanks to those who answered a call which was given by their beliefs to defend democracy in this country.
Though Rembrance Day and Anzac Day commemerate achievements which were achieved by our diggers of past generations, I think a universal acceptance is growing in Australia to also use these times to also remember all others who give their lives in the support of freedom and democracy.
To my mind this can also include journalists slaughtered in East Timor for example.
Most important to me though is my dad.
I can never thank him enough for the things he did for me.
