If anyone is looking at buying a new saddle I highly recommend Albion saddles. I bought an Albion SLK Ultima Dressage saddle last year from the UK and it is fantastic.
You can check them out at www.albionsaddlemakers.com (http://www.albionsaddlemakers.com)
I had to wait 3 months from ordering it but the wait was so worth it. :)

Do you have a photo of you and your horse to show us??

i had a sit in the ultima whilst in germany and found that it tilted my pelvis forward. i am quite tall though, so it may suit shorter riders.

the albions looked to be beautiful quality saddles and they also had some very nice bridles. when i spoke with the saddle makers, they said they were looking for an australian distributor. actually, just looked at their website and there is a horseland store listed as an australian stockist.

I got mine cheaper from a dealer in the UK. Had to pay taxes as it is valued over $1000 but was still cheaper fully mounted. I used Albion mounts (the girths are beautiful and soft), and Sprenger irons.
I bought the Albion SLK Ultima.

OOOHHHH they are wonderful. I have a second hand one that was cleaned up and fixed by Wendy Tidlbold over here in Mt Cotton. The leather is just fab! It fits almost all of my 8 TBs that are ridden and is very balanced.

It is the first saddle that I have actually moulded into. Feels like sitting in a very comfy leather chair. Selling all my Bates as a result.
