I am having terrible trouble with my saddle since it was incorrectly stuffed and now has a stretched panel. Now this saddle should suit my horse and I but because of this stretching it twists on him. I have so far spent about $500 trying to get it right over the years and now have decided to have the panels replaced totally and I was thinking that as I was going to the expense anyway that the flair system may be the way to go as I have a 5yo WB who is changing shape every other day.
I am at my whits end and can't afford another saddle of this calibre, it wasn't cheap but of course they are so much more expensive now.
So who has used this or added this to their saddles or heard anything about them. Thanks

We have it in two saddles...
I wouldn't be without it for Rocky. It has made the world of difference, as have quite a few other things along the path. But when we were really having trouble mid last year, he didn't want to canter and jacked up a lot, resisted and challenged everything I asked of him. We couldn't work out why and we'd already had the saddle checked. I found a dry patch one day and the cair in my isabell had deflated on one side. It had to be sent away for 6 weeks so the saddler lent me an isabell with flair... No more naughtiness (well almost, compared to what he had been). That was 3 days before National YR and I was going to scratch. I had a lesson that day in that saddle and we decided that it was worth going!
The change from Cair to Flair was amazing. They do say that because it gives the horse much more freedom that it can enhance or allow more of their natural movement, so it may be harder to ride the trot, but on the other hand it has a cushioning effect for the rider's spine as well. Saddler fitted a saddle for a South African lady overseas who broke her back and couldn't ride because of the pain. The saddle with Flair allowed her to ride with no pain.
I'm not sure what difference it has made for my sister's mare as we bought a new saddle and had it fitted straight away before she started working her.
I know Jytte has it for taddy. I'd love to hear other's stories. I have heard that some people don't like it, possibly because it makes their horses unrideable because of the bigger movement, or because neither side would be equal. But it is adjusted while you are on the horse's back so that it molds to their back shape and can adjust to help your position as well.

Yep...right on there Dan...flair is fantastic! It's the best thing for a super back-sensitive horse. Tad's improved in leaps and bounds since we have it in our saddle. I'd recomend it to anyone!!!
