I lost a gold button from the front of my black ascott hacking jacket. Does anyone know where to get a new one? Yes, I have taken the hint and are back on a diet.

Hi Lisa,
Maybe go to the shop you bought it from, they may be able to order them from the manufacturer of the jacket, otherwise I think you may have to replace all of them.
Hope you got over your cold.
My boy is going really well, taking every thing in and just gets on with it, such a different horse.
Anyway looking forward to seeing you Friday week, have a lovely easter break.
Cheers Joan.

Did you get onto a spare button? Maybe you could take the opportunity to "customise" and replace all the buttons with something new and different? I see a lot of riding jackets with different buttons or piping around the collars and or pockets that is definitely "after market" and they look really good.

Hey Janie :O

you gotta change your location.

Back to topic, I have a lovely louis epstein jacket and the buttons dont look salvagable so I have been looking around for new ones. Not in a rush as am not showing - but I think its the better option - ebay the ones you have.

Why don't you try Carolyn Brace? She tailor makes jackets from her home/studio in Ascot. So she should be able to sell you some buttons.
